Last year the club went on a field trip to the Fredericksburg area to hear from Fauquier 4-H leader Mary Jo Fine on the different points of judging show animals. She spoke with them on hoof care, clipping, and ring handling.
Otherwise, Adams says the goat club wasn’t as active last year as it might ave been. Many of its members also belonged to the rabbit club in Culpeper and were away on the weekends.
