little, director of the Northern Virginia 4-H t enter, agreed to let it be expanded to eight weeks for this coming summer. The camp will run from June 17-August 10 and add to its scheduled activities such courses as horseback riding, archery, baseball, dance and possibly computer lessons. We also intend to hire more teenagers as counselors in accord with one of our major goals—providing jobs for qualified high school students.
We hope to continue to offer tlu> program at $30 per week and let families register for whichever weeks of the summer they want. We also hope to be able to offer scholarships, funds permitting.
Our biggest job right now is to raise enough money, both through fund raising activities slich as tin* upcoming vintage fashion show and possibly through foundation grants, to make this program the rich and rewarding experience it can be for as many children and teenagers as possible.
