The building on the right of the photo is still standing and remarkably unchanged. Also of interest is the small Hot Dog stand behind the service station and the fact that 211 isn’t yet paved. Mr. Aylor operated a trucking business out of this location in the late 30’s and 40’s. During the 40's Mr. Aylor had the first and only Ferguson tractor dealership in Rappahannock. In addition to tractors, he also sold farm and orchard sprayers. ' ’«
