In order for parents and their boys to enjoy the cub scouting experience virtually free of charge, Rappahannock County Pack 123 conducts a once a season fund raiser to coincide with the beginning of the scout year. For those who never set up a corner lemonade stand, here is an opportunity for young boys to engage in a little commerce while helping themselves at the same time.
The treat for sale this year as in years past is Trails End Gourmet Popcorn. Flavors for sale this year are a three-way tin of yellow and white cheddar and caramel corn with peanuts; d gourmet “Cracker Jack” type with almonds and pecans; microwavable packs of unbelievable butter and butter lite; and for the purist jars of straight gourmet premium popping corn.
Trails End Gourmet Popcorn is made for the scouts exclusively by Weaver Popcorn Company. Their growers are selected from up to twelve midwestern states.
