It takes a village to raise a child. It takes parents, grandparents, teachers, and leaders of all kinds to train children to be the best they can be. Whether you are a parent or not, everyone in society needs to be concerned about the character development of children so that they grow up capable of making confident decisions about life. It is for the benefit of all that young children grow to be adults with strong values, willing to provide for themselves and those dependent upon them.
Theodore Roosevelt once said “To educate a person in mind and not in morals is to educate a menace to society.” And with this premise it is easy to see why incorporating a character education curriculum in the schools and workplace has become a growing national movement.
