WCDS seniors are m good shape when applying for colleges and scholarships.
Mrs. Marsha Dowell, college counselor at WCDS, starts working with students well before their senior year, in order to make sure that all students get their classes lined up in order to present themselves in the best light. Stressing the importance of classical languages, history, math, and a solid foundation in English literature and grammar, Mrs. Dowell is a source of important information for all upper school students as they prepare for this important transition.
• The soccer season at WCDS got a real boost last week when the Boys Varsity soccer team played a scrimmage game against the gang at the Inn of Little Washington. Let’s just say it was the heat outside of the kitchen that hindered the Inn’s players; WCDS won the scrimmage, and everyone had a great game.
