Hearthstone School in Sperryville began the 20022003 school year on Monday, Sept. 9 with a newly renovated Art Studio (containing a printing press and a darkroom, among other features).
Hearthstone’s classrooms and buildings are recently painted and outfitted, thanks to a cadre of parentvolunteers who worked throughout the summer. Another change this year: Hearthstone will have a school bus in operation, collecting and delivering children to and from Clevenger’s Corners and points in between.
Faculty
Remigiufz “Remi” Godlewski, a new faculty member, recently relocated from Florida (where he taught in the public schools for the last five years) to teach at Hearthstone. Mr. Godlewski’s responsibilities will include middle and upper school classes in science, math, English, Spanish, art, drama, Physical Education, and guitar.
