NAACP plans
Culture Day
The Culpeper Branch of the NAACP will host African American Culture Day on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on East Davis Street, Culpeper. There will be information booths, a marketplace, raffle prizes, food and fun for all ages. The proceeds support scholarships for youth in the community. Garden Tour set
A Dreamtime Garden Tour will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21 which coincides with a full moon and Autumn Equinox from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This time it’s the "Backyard Medicines Tour", which will be of the gardens surrounding the school.
Pre-registration is required. Bring a bag lunch and water. Teas will be provided. For additional information call Dreamtime at 675-1122.
