Homecoming services will be held at the Flint Hill United Methodist Church on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 8:45 a.m. The Rev. Claude Cook formerly of Flint Hill will be the guest speaker. A covered dish dinner will be served at the fire hall. The public is cordially invited.
The Flint Hill United Methodist Women will meet at the home of Barbara Jenkins on Monday, Sept. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
The Administrative Board of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church will meet at the church on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m.
The community breakfast which is normally held on the third Saturday will not be held for the month of September due to other activities.
Mrs. Irene Hamilton has returned to her home at High Point, N.C. after spending a week with Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Crane.
The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliaiy met at the fire hall on Monday, Sept. 2. Members present were Mary Blaisdell, Maiy Frances Bywaters, Mary Curtis, Mary Latham, Lucy Foster, Margaret Lee, Jean Lillard, Lois Markee, Alice Pullen, Gaynelle Russell and Arland Welch.
Plans were made for a Haunted House and Blue Grass Band to be held at the fire hall on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. William Jarrett
