Position available at Potomack Lakes Sportsplex in Sterling, VA Development and management of maintenance plan for the sportsplex facility that includes softball and soccer fields, a large playground, and a concession area. Coordinates scheduling of all events at sportsplex which includes hosting national and local softball tournaments and 4,000+ soccer games. Manages budget and work plan that meets department standards and objectives. Supervises 3 full-time staff, temporary seasonal positions and volunteers in the preparation of fields, turf maintenance, maintenance of playground structures, and other facility maintenance. Oversees supervision of sportsplex patrons and renters. Performs daily facility management and handles customer service concerns. Hours will vary and includes evening, weekend and holidays. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from Technical School or an Associates degree with course work in recreation or related field, with a minimum of five years work related experience, which includes supervisory experience.
