While we’re on the subject of special days, we remember yesterday, Wednesday was observed as “National Take A Hike Day.”
Culpeper Train Day will take place this Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Numerous activities will take place throughout the day; including riding on the train; live entertainment; food; beverages; trolley rides and a walking tour of the downtown area which has recently been renovated. A farmers market has also been added this year. Area folk are urged to attend. For more information call 825-4416. Windmore Foundation for the arts with offices here n Griffinsburg, will have a booth for the “train day” celebration.
