Fall festival at
Forest Grove
A fall festival will be held at Forest Grove Baptist Schoolhouse on Saturday, Oct. 5. Currently vendors and crafters are being sought and both inside and outside spaces are available. For additional information call 937-4221 or 825-7799.
Representative
to visit the Town
Mrs. Donna Crowley, a representative of Congressman Frank Wolf, will visit the town of Washington on Thursday, Sept. 19.
Mrs. Crowley will be available to talk with constituents who need assistance or have problems of a Federal nature, such as with the Social Security Administration, Department of Labor, Immigration and Naturalization Service, Internal Revenue Service, Department of Veterans Affairs, etc.
Citizens are also welcome to express their opinions or matters of concern, particularly national topics of issues before the United States Congress.
Mrs. Crowley will be at the Rappahannock County Extension Office from 2 to 3 p.m.

Dancing series to
begin Sept. 18
A new tribal belly dancing series with Charmaine Lee is starting Sept. 18 at 6 p.m. at the Washington Town Hall. There will be live drumming at certain classes. The classes will be each Wednesday through Oct. 30 except Oct. 9. The cost is $72 for the whole series of six classes and $15 per class. Please bring a mat.
