Banking evolved at Rappahannock Bank over the past 100 years from handwritten ledgers and note statements to the use of adding machines, typewriters, electronic bookkeeping machines and computers. As part of the hometown feeling at the bank, it didn’t change over from names on accounts to account numbers until after most bamks had done so.
In October 2001, the bank started offering Internet Banking on its web site, www.mba.com. Internet banking allows customers of Rappahannock National Bank to access their accounts, transfer money between accounts and pay their bills online.
