Pendleton reported that if all of the blinds were closed at night during the winter, the insulation that they provided would save the school $11,825 in heating costs.
The team also reported a huge amount of energy was being wasted during the summer as lights were left on, empty refrigerators were left running, and computers remained plugged in to the wall.
