The county Attorney and the Commonwealth Attorney both assured me that it was very unlikely that the Board of Supervisors would approve my request to delay approval of the second sub-division for 30-days and require Rodgers to negotiate a settlement with me O'jer my family cemetery.
But I am extremely thankful to the gentleman who made the motion and the gentleman who seconded it for having the compassion and courage to take the lead in getting the Board of Supervisors to vote 7 to 1 in m favor. *

Rodgers concluded by offering to Deed over to me Title to my family cemetery and the 10-feet around it (less in back because of the property line) recommended by the Virginia Department of Historic Resources, along with a 10foot right-away on his property to get to my family cemetery. Rodgers asked me if I would accept this Deed of Title to resolve our dispute. I responded that I would, and humbly thanked him for it.
