I ended up not sleeping for five days straight, suffered from extreme anxiety and missed almost the whole following week of work from the lack of sleep. I eventually had to seek medical treatment.
Obviously, there is way more to this story (as it is still ongoing), and there are clearly two sides to this issue.
There is certainly the side of the farmer and that of being humane to the animals. And then there is the side of being humane to the humans.
