Make a scarf in a day, weaving on a 4 harness floor loom. Techniques for warping the loom and weaving the scarf will be part of your learning experience. September 16: The Antique Market & Design Studio Art Show

The Antique Market & Design Studio, Sperryville, Virginia announces the Inaugural Art Show of the Turkey Mountain Art Gallery, Sperryville, Virginia. The gallery is housed in the West Wing of the Antique Market and will host monthly art shows of local and regional artists.

The Inaugural Show will feature the artwork of Nancy Brittle, Gary Colson, Michelle Lieb and Kathleen Willingham. The show’s theme is “Artist as Teacher". The four artists comprise the Fine Arts Faculty of Liberty High School in Fauquier County. Together, they will show works in Oil, Stone Sculpture and Photography.

The Opening Reception will take place from 4 p.m until 8 p.m , Saturday, September 16, at The Antique Market & Design Studio, 3 River Lane, Sperryville, Virginia. In addition to the art show, the reception will also feature wine and cheese, music from local musician Bob McDugald, as well as interior design demonstrations by Staff Interior Designer, Karen Estep, Allied Member, ASID.
