a former Spanish teacher from Mary Washington College. They joined a class of about fifteen other homeschooling students for Spanish instruction.
The twins also joined the St. John’s Drama club, a homeschooling organization in Warrenton of about 100 families. Ibgether the group writes and performs plays and productions. The boys performed in a production of King Arthur, playing Sir Kay and Sir Agravaine.
Jane also looks for outside opportunities for competition in national math and science contests and essay contests.
“It helps them feel a sense of accomplishment.” she said. “I am always on the lookout.”

For the past 18 years, Jane has worked at Fauquier Hospital while her husband, Tbdd, was a part time relief veterinarian at the time and taught the boys up through seventh grade. “He’s just smart,” Jane said about her husband, “He really understands everything very clearly, and did an excellent job teaching the boys.”
Now the parents have switched roles, as Tbdd began working as a full-time equine veterinarian and dentist, while Jane began working minimal hours at Fauquier Hospital.
