Rappahannock resident Brooke Parkhurst and her band Tinsmith will be appearing at the Old House > Vineyards Celtic Festival in Culpepper on Saturday, September 16.
Tinsmith is a very popular DC area Irish band: They £ have won several WAMMIE awards for their outstanding musicianship and have appeared at many local venues * ’ including The Barns at Wolftrap, Jammin Java and the Potomac Irish Festival in Leesburg. . *

Along with local Brooke Parkhurst on the * banjo, Irish flute, and tin whistle, Tinsmith includes*; Rowan Corbett on the guitar, bouzouki, bones, and djem- ;* be, Avirl smith on mandolin and guitar, and Henry Cross on bass.
On Saturday September 16 they will be appearing' throughout the day at the Old House Vinyards Irish Festival along with another Virginia Celtic band, IONA. Jf' In addition, there will be Irish dancers, Scottish pipers ; and crafters of all descriptions with beautiful handmade wares. - . , . ;
