winning teams are selected by looking at the four highest individual scores. For this season’s RCHS matches, the three Panthers’ scores are recorded, but it’s never enough to win a match.
“It’s not an entirely odd predicament,” said Gochenour, “Enrollment in golf programs goes up and down.”
Gochenour said that the boys have a golfing ayerage in the low 50s, recently recording rounds in the upper 40s. “Travis Mills has the lowest rated game so far,” Gochenour said following a recent match against Madison County and Luray. Mills’ lowest score is 46.
