hello to her!
She loves to meet people and to talk. Mom will be with us until after Christmas, when she will go to spend the winter with my brother in Palm Desert, CA.
In the meantime, she plans to get her daily exercise in Sperryville.
Date change for October Pickin’ Party
For October only, the Pickin’ Party at the Sperryville Fire Hall will be held on the third Saturday, October 21.
The September 9 Pickin’ Party featured not only the faithful regular players, but also the Sargent Family Bluegrass Band.
The Sargents are made up of Mom (Melinda) on dobro, Dad (Robbie) on bass, Lee (age 15) on guitar, Joshua (age 12) on mandolin and Danielle (age 11) on banjo.
4t was a special treat to have this talented family share their talent with our community. We hope they will return soon.
