nature, Daly pointed out, came through the day that Kritter and her family took Daly to a local com maze.
“We got kicked out of the com maze,” she said, laughing, “but we stayed in and wrapped our hair in leaves. We were being insane. We used leaves as bandanas.”
West pointed out that Kritter had to become organized to handle all the responsibilities that go with her academic, athletic and extracurricular pursuits. Bus trips to and from volleyball games, club or high school, are not for socializing but for studying and homework.
Does she feel as if she is missing anything? Well, maybe one thing.
“Sleep,” she said. “As a junior, I gave up sleep for a while. I felt like I was aging away too fast.”
