Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor
Fauquier Hospital is an 86 bed community based hospital conveniently located in Wairenton. VA, just 40 miles southwest of Washington DC. We currently have an opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor to join our team. This individual will be responsible for directing and managing activities within the pharmacy department to include: the monitoring and expansion of our clinical pharmacy program; oversight of clinical staff pharmacists’ training, growth, and development; maintaining, enhancing, and evaluating technology to support pharmacy and clinical services; and assisting with day to day pharmacy operations.
The ideal candidate would be a demonstrated leader in the arena of pharmacy with 3-5 years clinical experience in an acute care setting, and experience with hospital information systems. Current Virginia licensure and PharmD degree required with residency and critical care experience preferable.
