ways to find answers is to call the Master Gardners’ Hotline at the Virginia Cooperative Extension. The hotline, which accepts calls Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., is open from April through October. It is operated by VCE Master Gardeners, trained volunteers who have completed 50 hours of classroom instruction and 50 hours of internship training.
"The kinds of questions we get run the gamut,” says VCE Master Gardner Marsha Cooser.
