Mark’s being Stop 3. Funds were raised by registration, raffles and sale of food and refreshments. A concert at the Madison American Legion Post ended the day. Mark is sure that a sizable amount of money was raised for a fellow vet...and what a gorgeous day for a ride.

Studio Grand Opening
This weekend, Oct. 20 and 21, make your way to 103 Castleton Ford Road to meet Patricia Underwood at her studio and to view selections from her bodies of work on display in her home. Patricia is multimedia artist who incorporates hand-made, pulp-painted paper, bead work, caulking, pictographs, three-dimensional materials, and much more into her art. Her work is filled with images from ancient times, often juxtaposed with symbols of today’s culture. Patricia’s art is powerful, challenging and captivating. “Bimbos and Goddesses,” currently on display in Warsaw, is a body of work that examines female imagery from modem media and prehistoric matriarchal cultures. The juxtaposition of the two reveals symbolic associations between ancient and pop culture representations of women.
Patricia’s printing press is now ensconced in its new home in the garage converted into a light and airy studio. Traditional copper plate and solar plate etching form a core of her work.
Classically trained at the U. of Miami, Patricia departed from traditional figurative art while in graduate school at Washington University of St. Louis. She has taught at the university level and in private schools. Her goal now is to develop a thriving teaching studio and to focus on
