Oct 31: AARP Driver Safety Program

An 8-hour classroom refresher course designed for those 50 and over will be offered at the Willis Chapel United Methodist Church, 1804 Zachery Taylor Hwy, Huntly, VA on Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 8:30 am. - 5 p.m. Those completing this 8-hour course will receive a certificate, which should reduce auto insurance costa. NO Exams. The cost is $10 (to cover the costs of materials). Class size is limited. All drivers should bring their drivers license to class. Nov. 2: Performance/Open Mic

There will be a Performance /Open Mic on Friday, Nov. 2 at 7 p. m., in the Hearthstone School Community Room, 11576 Lee Highway, in Sperryville. Hearthstone’s music teacher Frances Miller will give a short performance, followed by an open-mic. This will be the first in a series featuring music, poetry, and comedy. Studfo and Gallery Tour

Come tour the studios of 16 artists and visit 10 participating galleries. Sponsored by the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and Community, this annual event draws hundreds to Rappahannock as the artists of the county are celebrated.
