JOHN WARNER regrets that the government didn't use it to replace some direct funding of projects.
He said revenue sharing was superimposed on direct funding, and he implied that the result is inflationary and an obstacle to balancing the federal budget.
"My number one objective,” Warner said, "is to help work out (from under) inflation."
People he meets are also concerned about taxation and waste in government.
