Engagement
Mr. and Mrs. James Hawkins of Centreville announce the engagement of their daughter, Terri Lynn, to Jeffery Hylton, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Hylton of Deland, Fla., formerly of Centreville.
The bride-elect is a 1976 graduate of Chantilly High School and holds a state license in cosmotology. Mr. Hylton is a 1973 graduate of Herndon High School and is employed with Jim McKay in Fairfax.
Miss Hawkins is the granddaughter of Otis Hawkins of Woodville and Clarence Whotron of Washington. A January wedding is planned.
Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Settle of Amissville were honored with a surprise reception in celebration of their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary, given by their children, Stan, Phil and Pat. The reception was held October 12 in the social hall of Amissville Baptist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Dodson assisted with the party which was attended by about fifty friends and relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Settle were married October 14, 1953 in Sperryville by Elder J. Harvey Dailey at his home. They resided for two years in Culpeper and have lived the remainder of the time in Amissville.
Crumps Have Son
Mr. and Mrs. David N. Crump Jr. of Sperryville are the parents of a son, Oliver Grey, born October 18, 1978, in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Grandparents of the infant are Mr. and Mrs. R. O. Baker of Pai^tSsville, Ohio, and Mr. David N. Crump of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
