Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Keyser entertained Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Manx of Leesburg for dinner Sunday at the Tee Pee in Sperryville. Mrs. Albert J. Slaughter visited Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. John Turner of Warrenton and Mrs. L. J. Turner joined the Virginia Museum Group Wednesday and toured the New East Wing of the Smithsonian Institution. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. John Turner and Mrs. L. J. Turner attended the house tour.
Mr. and Mrs. Brander Robinson of Manassas were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. O. Bridges.
Mrs. Oliver Carver spent the past two weeks in Redding, Calif. She saw the Lawrence Welk show at the Civic Center and dined at the famous French Gulch Restaurant where she played the piano. She visited the “King’s Table.” the old Shasta County Museum and other historical sites around San Francisco. Mrs. Carver also toured Shasta Mountain, Shasta Lake, Shasta City, and other places of interest.
Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Nightengale of Williamsburg are spending this week with Mrs. H. M. Keyser in Tiger Valley. Mrs. Keyser’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Jacobsen of South Paris, Me. are expected to arrive Sunday to spend a few days with her. The Jacobsens are enroute to spend the winter in Cape Canaveral, Fla.
