It makes me wonder if Mr. Fickett and Mr. Miller have much in common with principled citizens of the Seventh District. The past eight years have proven that Congressman J. Kenneth Robinson does.

RLEP Harvest

Square Dance

The Ralph Case Square Dancers will be featured at this year's RLEP Harvest Barn Dance. The Old Washington School will be the 'barn' on Saturday. November 18, at 8 p.m.

The evening will have a demonstration by the Case Clog dancers as well as calling by Ralph Case himself. In addition there will be a door prize, an auction, and fortune telling. Local merchants are being asked to contribute to the auction.

Local cabinet maker Peter Kramer has donated a chair, and Nels Parson a Christmas tree for the event.

A charge of $5 per person will get you into the festivities, where you can dance or watch or partake of the refreshments and set-ups which will be available.

Flint Hill

Annual Sale

Extension Homemakers of Flint Hill will hold their annual sale this Sat., Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Flint Hill fire hall. Baked goods, crafts and miscellaneous items will be for sale.

Fall Back

Daylight Saving Time will turn to Standard Time Saturday night-Sunday morning. Clocks and watches should be turned back an hour, or you’ll find yourself early Sunday for everything.
