A funeral for Fred Allen Cooke of Viewtown was held Monday at Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at Viewtown, conducted by the Rev. A. C. Walker.
Mr. Cooke, 62, died Oct. 21, 1978, at his residence, following a long illness. A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of Mrs. Bertha Frances Cooke of Viewtown and the late Clarence Gifford Cooke. He was a member of Forest Grove Baptist Church.
Besides his mother, he is survived by four brothers, Clifford L Cooke and Harry Cooke, both of Viewtown, Raymond Cooke of Castleton and Elmer Cooke of Amissville; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Bihl of Lancaster, Pa., and Mrs. Maude Corbin of Culpeper, and a number of nieces and nephews.
