Gangel reported the projected growth for 1997 was 1,082 students, but actually only 1,064 students attend this year. The growth for the school system from 1991 (989 students) to 2015 (1464 students) is projected to be 48 percent, although the rate has fluctuated yearly, it is accurate to within 1.5 percent this year, he said.
The need for expansion for the schools will be addressed by Gangel during September and October to “any group that will listen to me,” he said.
