Monetary donations were secured to provide the masks, beads, and gold coin candy for each camper and to cover all the miscellaneous expenses involved in carrying out this Rappahannock tradition: Eugene McCarthy, The Rappahannock National Bank, F&M National Bank at Flint Hill, Frances Foster, Willie Cloud, Karen Foster, American Cancer Society, Hackley’s Store, Graham and Dorothy Hackley, Cathy Lou Smith, Josh Makela, Amissville United Methodist Women, Early’s Carpet, Roger Poe, Amissville Ruritan Club, and the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company.
In addition, Donna Brune, owner of Persimmon Springs Florist in Huntly, made and donated lovely vases of flowers and a large centerpiece for the tables.
We sincerely appreciate all the donations that made this annual event possible. We feel very fortunate to be able to participate in Camp Fantastic each year, even in a small way, and are already making plans for next year. Thanks to all of you!!!
