Often when I arrive at the stable or race track that is to be the setting for that week’s assignment, I am greeted by whinnies and nickers, and the odd moo, here and there.
Imagine my surprise this past weekend when I was greeted by the stable mascot, “Tigger.” Tigger is an unusual choice for a bam animal. She’s not a mouser. She’s frightened by horses and she has an unusual habit of attacking the water hose when it’s turned on.
