Continuing a successful formula of Sunday racing to avoid conflict with University of Virginia football games, the Foxfield Fall Races in Charlottesville will celebrate a 20th renewal on Sept. 28. The hilly course will feature a flat race, a maiden timber race and four hurdle events. The featured $25,000 Daniel Van Clief Memorial hurdle handicap is set over two and a quarter miles.
