Fort Valley, Ruth Penn and family of Alexandria, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Poland of Midland, Mr. and Mrs. Dickie Phelps of Catalpa, Mr. and Mrs. French Strickland of Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Baldwin and daughter Charlene of Alexandria, and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Turner of Warrenton. There were 50 people eating and playing volleyball, badminton, and horseshoes. It was a good time to make new friends and visit with old acquaintances.
Donn and Val Jones were married on Sept. 15, 1962 at Aldersgate Methodist Church. We wish them a very happy 35th anniversary!
