winer vda senes races include the fall highweight flat series, with races at the Sept. 6 Glenwood Races, Fairfax, Virginia Fall’s unsanctioned day Oct. 5 and Morven Park. The owner of the Virginiaowned- or -trained horse that accumulates the most points in the series will receive a trophy and 60 percent of the $1,000 bonus prize; 20 percent goes to the horse earning second.

The VSA filly and mare challenge will split a $1,000 bonus between the top two Virginia-owned or -trained female horses earning points in-flat races on Virginia’s fall steeplechase circuit. Series events for distaffers are carded at Glenwood (held Sept. 6) and Virginia Fall, though points will be awarded to horses finishing in the top four in any Virginia flat race this fall.
