informative
Some readers may have
missed the announcements of Rappahannock County’s Republican Rally this coming Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Washington Fire Hall.
The program begins about 3:45 p.m. Those who purchased tickets for the barbecue chicken dinner should come by 3 p.m.
County Republicans extend a cordial invitation to all voters. The rally won’t be long. It will be informative and fun. You’ll learn about the issues and people of this year’s state-wide elections: Governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general at the state levels, plus all delegates. You’ll get facts, not slanted ads or misleading advocacy!
The candidates heading the Republican ticket, Jim Gilmore, John Hager, Mark Earley, cannot attend. But, U.S. Representative Frank Wolf will be here to speak for them. Delegate Jay Katzen will explain his platform and qualifications for re-election.
Before and after the brief speeches, everyone will be able to talk with Congressman Wolf and Delegate Katzen.
In addition, there will be an auction of local fruit, honey and other “treasures.”
