Dr. David Gangel, superintendent of schools, asked the Rappahannock County School Board, at their meeting last week, for approval to give Trigon stock, currently valued at $196,225.72, to the county supervisors. He explained that he was waiting for Peter Luke, Commonwealth’s Attorney for the county, to give his opinion. He said the school has a moral, although not legal, responsibility to give George Washington Carver/ Piedmont Technical Education Center $18,628.15 from the sale of the Trigon stock.
