Karen Marie Kerns and John Robert Wahab were married Aug. 30 in Washington, Va. at Trinity Episcopal Church.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Donna Kerns of Manassas Park, Va. and the granddaughter of Mrs. Edna Perry of Washington.

The groom is the son of Robert Wahab and Jane Boyd and step parents Virginia Wahab and Jim Boyd of Hampton Roads, Va.

The Rev. Jennings W. Hobson IH performed the double-ring ceremony.

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father.

She wore a white satin gown with beaded lace and ruffled train. Her bouquet was red and white roses, greenery and lace bows.
