Sunday’s VSA-sanctioned day includes a $2,000 novice timber, an apprentice rider hurdle and three flat races. Also planned Sunday are the finals for the Field Hunter Championships of America.
Glenwood Park is widely considered by horsemen and spectators alike to be one of the nation’s finest venues. Viewing from the hillside seating is good, and well-maintained turf is usually evident for horse safety.
