Willie R. Yager
Willie Robert Yager, 89, of Norman, died September 3 at the VA Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Yager was a native of Rappahannock County and a deacon of Good Hope Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of the Culpeper County school system.
He is survived by three sons, John Yager of Metuchen, N. J., Charles Yager of Culpeper and Robert Yager of Washington, D.C., a daughter Loretta Yager Wyatt of Landover, Md., 10 grandchildren, a step-grandchild, six great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted September 6 at Good Hope Baptist Church, Norman, by the Rev. Hugh Wilson of Culpeper. Interment was at the family section of the church cemetery.
Cynthia E. Daniel
Miss Cynthia “Cindy” E. Daniel, 22, of Claiborne Place, Newport News, died in Medical College of Virginia Hospital in Richmond.
She was a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew R. Williams of Chester Gap.
Miss Daniel was a dispatcher at Newport News Shipbuilding and was a senior at Christopher Newport College. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church.
Bom in Charlottesville, she was graduated from Menchville High School in 1982.
Survivors include her parents Mr. and Mrs. Billy D. Daniel, her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William G. Daniel of Newport
