Mrs. Auriel Rundle, a native of County Durham, England, is the new fifth grade teacher. A former teacher and headmistress of St. Mary’s Hall in Minnesota, Mrs. Rundle was later headmistress of St. Mark’s Elementary School in Jacksonville, Florida. Mrs. Rundle holds degrees from the University of Durham in England and has had 30 years of teaching experience.
Dr. Robert Schleck will teach Modem European History, Economics, Logic, and Debate. Dr. Schleck holds degrees from Princeton, Columbia, and New York University. For several years he was with the Department of State, serving in various foreign posts, including Tel Aviv and Eastern Europe. More recently Dr. Schleck has been a lecturer at the Catholic University in Washington.
Tony Wilson has joined Wakefield’s mathematics faculty. A MA graduate of James Madison University, Mr. Wilson has been a math instructor at the Massanutten Military Academy in Woodstock for the past ten years.
