School Board endorses four classrooms with 1981 completion date requested.
• April 1980 — Joint School Board-Supervisor committee proposes RCHS space study to determine if rooms in high school are being used at optimum efficiency. Supervisor chairman E. P. Luke, also chairman of the joint committee, presents $1.25 million high school expansion plan to committee members. The plan includes 14,188 square feet with three science labs, two business classrooms, art room, music room, expanded library and cafeteria, four restrooms, clinic, teacher workroom, guidance office and locker room.
• May 1980—- Mr. Luke recommends buying trailers to solve space needs at RCHS. State’s visiting evaluation team cites space needs at RCHS and recommends expansion of base facilities and addition of new classrooms.
• September 1980 — Supervisors ask School Board for capital outlay report.
• October 1980 — School Board endorses ex
