Under the terms of the ordinance, the Sharps must be given 10 days notice in which to appeal a permit revocation to the BZA. Acting BZA chairman Sharon Luke noted that the time element has been satisfied in regard to the narrow issue of whether family transfers have invalidated their special use permit for the temporary migrant worker housing.
Mr. Reynolds suggested that his clients and anyone else with other allegations of violations bring their complaints to the zoning administrator so Mr. McCarthy can make a finding or bring the charges to the BZA for a decision at the September 24 meeting and, at the same time, give the Sharps the required 10 days notice.
After a quick consultation with Mrs. Sharp, Mr. Baumgardner noted exception to setting the matter over to a later date. “We expected to be dealing with one very narrow issue today,” he said.
