Homecoming at Promise Land . Siinday, September 28, is homecoming day at Promise Land Baptist Church. The pastor Rev. J. R. Pendleton will conduct the regular worship service at 11 a.m. At 3 p.m. Rev. E. T. Wheeler, secretary of the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Association and pastor of Cedar Grove, Buena, White Oak, Rapidan and Mt. Pisgah, Twyman’s Mill, will be the speaker.
