Women of Bromfield Parish will hold their annual house tour and dried arrangement display and sale on Saturday and Sunday, October 21 and 22 from 1 to 5 p.m. The three houses to be toured are Avon Hall and Mt. Prospect in Washington, Va. and Wakefield Manor at Huntly, Va.
Rev. and Mrs. Richard Trout, formerly of Rappahannock County, have taken up residence in Lima, Peru and are engaged in missionary activity. They are working -with the Pocket Testament League in a campaign of Evangelism and Scripture distribution throughout the entire continent. The Trouts three children are with them. Rev. Trout was a former teacher at Rappahannock County High School.
The Donkey Baseball game originally scheduled to be held Tuesday night at Castleton was postponed because of bad weather and will be held Sunday, September 24 at 3 p.m. A special plate lunch will be available on the grounds for 50 cents per plate. There will be fun and excitement for all. Proceeds go to the Castleton Community Volunteer Fire Department.

Final plans for an addition to
the building which houses the Extension Agents offices was approved by the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors when they convened for the September meeting. W. C. Campbell presented sketches of the proposed addition which received approval along with a bid of $1,631.50 by Woodrow Coughlin for the construction. Also approved was a bid for the septic system. The construction will include a restroom and storage facility.
