Beahm kin sought
To the editor:
We are doing an extensive research on the' Beahm/Beam family and, although we have located and have much information on the descendants of George Washington Beahm of Rappahannock County and his brother Warner Royal Beahm of Madison County, we have found very little data on the other children of John Beahm (1784-1835) and his wife, Nancy Bowen Beahm, who were married in Culpeper County in 1813.
The children of this union whom we need information about are: Mildred Beahm, who married James Daniel in 1846; Daniel Beahm, who married first Mary Smelser in 1843 and then Magdalene Yowell in 1886; Elizabeth Beahm, who married Gabriel Brown in 1844; Silas Jacob Beahm, no further information; John Beahm, who married Sarah Long in 1847; Eliza Ann Beahm, who married William Foster in 1859.
All of these marriages took place in Rappahannock County with the exception of Daniel’s two marriages and that of John Beahm, which occurred in Page County.
If there is anyone in the reading audience who is a descendant of or has knowledge of the descendants of these Beahms, please contact us at the following address: James A. and Dorothy W. Galloway, 3455 Katie Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43220.
