They decided to start out with Grandparents Day in September to complement National Lunch Week in October when parents are invited to eat lunch with their children.
The grandparents who attended were very happy to have the opportunity to be involved with their grandchild’s school. “It’s great! It shows the kids appreciate their grandparents. My granddaughter, Johanna, has been talking about it and reminding me about it ever since she brought the paper home telling about it,” said Mrs. Elizabeth Tole.
