The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, reminds everyone that September 17 to 23 is Constitution Week, and that this year the 199th observance of it will also serve as the beginning of the Constitution’s bicentennial celebration. The celebration is being coordinated by former Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court Warren Burger, who stepped down from that post to devote his entire energies to the Constitution’s bicentennial celebration. The DAR urges all Americans to fly their flag in honor of the Constitution, and to observe Constitution Week with pride and patriotism.
